Sales Representative – Contract

Our client is seeking to hire a Sales Representative on a temporary contractual basis.

Employment Details

• Position: Sales Representative
• Contract Duration: Six (6) Months
• Salary: TT$4,000.00 per month

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• One (1) Saturday off per month

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Assist customers in person and over the telephone by identifying their needs and recommending suitable products and services.
• Process sales transactions accurately in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services and confidently present available options to customers.
• Handle inbound customer enquiries and welcome customers with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm.
• Conduct outbound customer communication through various channels to promote products, follow up on enquiries, and build customer relationships.
• Operate the cash register to calculate and record sales transactions.
• Receive and process cash, cheque, and credit/debit card payments, issuing accurate change where applicable.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional sales environment.
• Assist with stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control as required.
• Support the achievement of individual and team sales targets.
• Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of five (5) CXC/CSEC passes (including Mathematics and English)
• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service will be an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented with good cash-handling skills.
