Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for receiving, storing, and safely dispatching all merchandise while accurately maintaining inventory records. Coordinate logistics and dispatch goods efficiently to support and enhance delivery operations.

Hours: 8am – 4pm
Salary: $11,000 per month

Areas of Responsibility:-

• Manage and supervise warehouse picker to ensure accurate and efficient operations.
• Accurate packing/bagging of goods to be issued to drivers.
• Coordinate with drivers and sales representatives with logs to facilitate timely and accurate deliveries.
• Coordinate with drivers and administrative staff requirements.
• Efficient management of inventory in terms of physical layout in warehouses.
• Ensuring goods are issued out on FIFO basis.
• Accurate receival of inventory and storage of such in a systematic manner based on expiry dates.
• Physical tracking of expiration dates of inventory and notifying management of instances where they are nearing expiration.
• Verify Driver logs before dispatch and returns from prior day activities.
• Properly account for expired, damage, returned goods and put in a section off area prior to annual disposal.
• Ensure clean warehouse and office environment
• Assist in any other related duties from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience Requirement:-

• A university degree in a related field.
• Qualifications such as higher degrees, diplomas, CIPS, CPM or APICS certification are assets.
• Cold storage experience.
• Experience working with WMS and ERP systems.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ work experience in a medium sized retail company or experience in warehouse management or any aspect of supply chain management, with at least 2 years supervising others.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Certificate of Good Character
