Warehouse Attendant (Contract – 3 Months)

Our client in Couva is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Attendant to join their team on a 3-month contract basis. The successful candidate will support daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling of goods, accurate stock control, and adherence to safety standards.

Employment Details

• Position Type: Contract (3 months)
• Salary: TT$5,000 – TT$5,500 per month
• Location: Couva, Trinidad
• Start Date: Immediate / short notice preferred

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Receive, check, store, and organise incoming goods
• Pick, pack, and prepare goods for dispatch
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
• Maintain proper stock rotation and warehouse organisation
• Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded

Inventory Control

• Assist with stock counts and cycle counts
• Report damaged, expired, or missing stock
• Ensure accurate handling of product information (quantities, batch numbers, expiry dates where applicable)

Health, Safety & Housekeeping

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
• Follow all HSE procedures and safety regulations
• Report hazards, damages, or equipment issues promptly

General Support

• Assist with deliveries when required
• Support basic warehouse documentation and administrative tasks
• Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

Education & Training

• Secondary education in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field
• Minimum 5 CXC/GCE subjects (including Mathematics and English)
• Forklift certification is desirable –Additional training or certifications in logistics or warehouse operations are an advantage.

Experience & Skills

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
• Good work ethic and punctuality
