Safety Assitant

Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking Temporary Safety Assistant to support the function by assisting with site oversight and ensuring compliance with safety standards across a project site. This role will provide critical support in maintaining a safe and compliant working environment for all personnel within a fast-paced, high-risk operational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance

• Support the monitoring and enforcement of safety protocols during SIMOPS activities

• Assist in the preparation and facilitation of toolbox talks

• Support the investigation and reporting of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions

• Assist in maintaining and updating safety records, reports, and documentation

• Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions following safety inspections

• Assist in ensuring the availability and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on site

• Collaborate with project teams to promote a strong safety culture and adherence to HSE standards

• Assist in conducting safety inductions and awareness sessions for site personnel

• Provide administrative and operational support to the HSE team as required

Requirements:

• NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent qualification

• Proven experience in fast-paced environments such as construction sites or production plants

• Must possess a clean Certificate of Character (COC)
