Business Equipment Technician
Our client in Port of Spain is seeking a qualified and motivated Electronic Service Technician to join their Business Equipment Division.

Salary: $7,000 + $1,500 Travel Allowance (TTD monthly)
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain Canon business equipment and other ICT hardware

Complete work orders accurately and efficiently; escalate unresolved issues

Support the Sales team with technical insights and cost estimates

Collect payments and return replaced parts for inventory control

Attend training sessions and maintain up-to-date technical skills

Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures
Qualifications & Requirements:

Degree, diploma, or certificate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology (IT), ICT, or a related technical field

Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical support or electronic service roles

Familiarity with Canon copiers, business equipment, or ICT hardware is an asset

Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and basic networking principles

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and physically handle equipment (up to 40 lbs)

Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
-
Combination of tertiary education and relevant hands-on experience will also be considered to encourage a wider pool of applicant
