Administrative Assistant – Risk Department
Location: Port of Spain, Trinidad

Salary: TT$6,000.00 per month
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide clerical and administrative support to the Risk Department in relation to vehicle repossession activities and the processing of returned mail.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all records are accurately maintained, updated, and processed in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, update, and maintain end-to-end vehicle repossession/disposal records and documentation.
- Liaise with authorised repossession agents and relevant internal departments regarding the status of vehicles.
- Manage the loan foreclosure process by performing, monitoring, and reporting on required activities, overseeing engagement with external stakeholders, and providing timely progress updates.
- Receive, sort, record, and process returned mail.
- Review returned correspondence and update customer contact and mailing information as applicable.
- Maintain accurate repossession and returned-mail registers.
- Update core banking system with actions taken to update KYC and to dispose of repossessed assets.
- Perform general administrative duties, including, printing, filing, photocopying, scanning, and document preparation.
- Assist with preparing basic reports and providing relevant status updates.
- Escalate discrepancies or outstanding matters to the relevant supervisor/manager.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of five (5) CSEC/CXC subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- 1–3 years’ experience in data entry, clerical, or administrative role.
- Certificate in Business Administration or related field will be considered an asset.
- Prior experience in the financial services sector would be considered an asset.
