Digital Enagement Officer
Our client is seeking to onboard a Digital Engagement Officer to lead and drive the organisation’s digital marketing, communications, public relations, and engagement agenda.
Location: San Fernando-Applications are welcomed. However, given the location of the role and in-office working arrangement, preference may be given to candidates residing within the Chaguanas, San Fernando, and surrounding areas to support ease of commute and operational requirements.
Working Arrangement: Monday – Friday | In Office
Employment Type: Contract – 1-Year Renewable
Salary: TT$13,000 – TT$16,000 (Based on Experience)

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will serve as the lead resource for the marketing and communications function, taking ownership of the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of initiatives that strengthen brand visibility, enhance stakeholder engagement, support organisational growth, and reinforce corporate reputation.

Role Overview
The Digital Engagement Officer will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing, communications, and digital engagement initiatives that position the organisation effectively across internal and external channels.The role extends beyond social media management and includes responsibility for strategic campaigns, executive communications, stakeholder engagement, content production, brand management, public relations activities, and project leadership.
The successful candidate will act as the central point of coordination for marketing and communications initiatives while partnering with Executive Leadership to support organisational priorities and elevate brand presence.
Key Areas of Ownership
- Lead the organisation’s marketing and communications initiatives and projects from planning through execution.
- Develop, implement, and continuously evolve the organisation’s marketing and digital engagement strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Manage and monitor the functional marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and maximising value across campaigns and initiatives.
- Drive digital engagement strategies that strengthen visibility, awareness, and audience engagement.
- Own the content strategy and execution across social media platforms, digital channels, and website communications.
- Develop and execute digital advertising and promotional campaigns aligned with business and growth objectives.
- Partner directly with the CEO on executive communications including presentations, speeches, scripts, and strategic messaging.
- Lead and support the execution of corporate outreach programmes, community engagement initiatives, and stakeholder activities to strengthen organisational visibility and relationships.
- Coordinate branding, stakeholder engagement, conferences, exhibitions, corporate events, and public-facing initiatives.
- Capture, curate, and manage photography and videography content across events and organisational activities.
- Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and trend analysis to strengthen positioning and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure communications and campaigns align with organisational priorities and brand standards.
- Monitor and manage digital engagement and social media interactions while protecting brand reputation.
- Support outreach, employee engagement, CSR initiatives, and external engagement activities through impactful storytelling and content creation.
- Maintain organised digital assets, marketing records, and communications documentation.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation across the organisation’s engagement and communications agenda.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Media & Communication Studies or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Knowledge / Competencies
- Strong understanding of marketing communications, public relations, branding, and digital engagement principles.
- Strong project management and organisational capability.
- Experience with content creation and digital tools including:
- Photography and videography
- Graphic design platforms (Canva or equivalent)
- Website content management systems
- Social media management and digital marketing tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, influence outcomes, and manage multiple priorities.
