Corporate Services Officer (Temporary Assignment)
Our client is seeking to hire a Corporate Services Officer Resource for a Temporary Assignment.
Job Experience:
Procurement and Contract Administration:
Assist with the preparation of procurement-related documentation, including requests for quotations, scopes of work, evaluation reports, recommendations and related records.
Support the administration and monitoring of vendor contracts and service agreements.
Assist with the review and evaluation of quotations and proposals and provide administrative support throughout the procurement process.
Operational Support:
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of operational processes, procedures and systems within the Division.
Maintain records, databases and other information management systems relevant to the Division’s operations.
Compile and analyze operational data to support decision-making and reporting requirements.
Facilities and Asset Management:
Assist with the coordination and monitoring of facilities-related projects, maintenance activities and contracted services.
Support the development of specifications, cost estimates and related documentation for facilities management initiatives.
Assist with the tracking and monitoring of preventative maintenance schedules and activities.
Research, Reporting and Documentation:
Conduct research and gather information to support the development of policies, procedures, guidelines and operational standards.
Prepare reports, statistical summaries, presentations and other management information as required.
Assist with the documentation and monitoring of divisional activities and performance indicators.
Project Support:
Provide administrative and coordination support for divisional and organizational projects.
Assist with the implementation of initiatives aligned with the Division’s operational and strategic objectives.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the timely completion of assigned activities.
Safety and Compliance:
Support the maintenance of records and documentation relating to occupational safety, health and compliance requirements.
Assist in ensuring that operational activities are conducted in accordance with established policies, procedures and applicable regulations.
Job Requirements:
Two (2) years’ experience in the field of Corporate Services, Business Operations, OSH, Facilities and Procurement.
An Undergraduate Degree in Business Management/Business Administration or a
related field.
International Purchasing Professional (CIPP) certification would be an asset.
Any suitable combination of qualification and experience will be considered.
