Field Sales Representative (TT, Guyana & Surinam

Our client operates within the Information Technology (IT) and Telecommunications Distribution sector and is seeking to permanently onboard a highly qualified and experienced professional for the following role: Field Sales Representative Specialist.

Job Title: Field Sales Representative Specialist

Location: Trinidad and Tobago (Regional Responsibility: Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana, Suriname)
Reports To: Commercial Manager
Salary Range: USD $1,500 – $2,000 per month( 9,150 – 12,200 TTD)
Employment Type: Permanent

Job Summary

This is a permanent position based in Trinidad and Tobago, with regional responsibility for Guyana and Suriname. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding the customer base, strengthening existing client relationships, and increasing market share across the assigned territory. The position reports directly to the Commercial Manager and requires regional travel once or twice per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within the IT and telecommunications markets.

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients to increase product penetration and market share.

  • Conduct regular in-person client visits and presentations in Trinidad and Tobago.

  • Travel monthly to Guyana and Suriname to support regional sales growth and relationship management.

  • Collaborate with Inside Sales Representatives and Product Managers to ensure coordinated sales execution.

  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to the Commercial Manager.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications & Prerequisites:

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ proven experience in sales and/or business development, with mandatory experience within the IT industry.

  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Tertiary-level education in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an asset.

  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and account management.

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally.

  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-oriented with strong organizational skills.
