IT Support Specialist
Position Summary
We are actively building a pool of IT Support Specialists for future opportunities across Suriname within Corporate Services, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Energy, Government, Hospitality, and Technology sectors.
The IT Support Specialist provides technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, software, networks, and IT infrastructure to ensure business continuity and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first and second-level technical support to end users. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues. Respond to service tickets and technical requests. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Assist with user account management and access controls. Support system upgrades and software deployments. Monitor network connectivity and performance. Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, wireless, and internet connectivity issues. Support cybersecurity and information security initiatives. Maintain IT asset inventories. Update technical documentation and support records. Prepare reports on recurring technical issues and solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 2–5 years of IT support experience. Experience supporting Microsoft environments, cloud platforms, and business systems is preferred. Ref: CM
