Human Resource Officer
Position Summary

The Human Resources Officer is responsible for supporting the effective delivery of human resource services and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, policies, and applicable employment legislation.
The successful candidate will assist in managing recruitment activities, employee relations, onboarding, performance management, training coordination, HR administration, and employee engagement initiatives while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate recruitment and selection activities from job posting through onboarding. Screen applications, schedule interviews, and coordinate candidate assessments. Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. Assist in maintaining talent pipelines and candidate databases. Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documentation. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related matters. Assist in resolving employee concerns and workplace issues. Support disciplinary, grievance, and conflict resolution processes. Promote positive employee relations and workplace culture initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases. Prepare HR reports, employment documentation, and correspondence. Manage personnel files and ensure compliance with confidentiality requirements. Coordinate employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and separations. Assist in coordinating training programs and professional development initiatives. Monitor employee training records and certification requirements. Support workforce development and succession planning initiatives. Coordinate employee orientation and induction programs. Assist in the administration of performance appraisal processes. Monitor performance review schedules and documentation. Support managers with performance management initiatives. Assist in identifying employee development needs. Support payroll administration processes and employee benefits coordination. Assist with employee leave administration and attendance monitoring. Maintain HR data relating to compensation and benefits programs. Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and policies. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and organizational policies. Assist with HR audits and compliance reviews. Prepare HR metrics and workforce reports. Support policy development and implementation initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field. Minimum of 2–5 years of experience within Human Resources, Recruitment, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, or HR Administration. Experience supporting HR functions within Oil & Gas, Energy, Construction, Logistics, Financial Services, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, or Corporate environments would be highly desirable.
