Drivers

Position Summary

We are actively building a pool of qualified Drivers for future opportunities across Suriname.

We anticipate demand from Oil & Gas, Logistics, Construction, Hospitality, Government, Marine Services, Corporate Organizations, Distribution, and Professional Services sectors.

The Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional transportation of personnel, equipment, materials, and documents while ensuring compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport personnel, clients, visitors, and company representatives. Deliver documents, equipment, materials, and supplies. Plan routes to ensure timely arrivals and efficient travel. Conduct daily vehicle inspections. Monitor fuel, oil, tire pressure, and maintenance requirements. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness. Report mechanical issues promptly. Maintain vehicle logs and mileage records. Complete transportation and delivery documentation. Support operational and logistics activities when required. Comply with all road traffic laws and company safety procedures. Practice defensive driving techniques. Report accidents, incidents, and safety concerns immediately.

Qualifications & Experience

Secondary School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2–5 years of professional driving experience. Experience within logistics, executive transportation, construction, oil & gas, or corporate environments would be advantageous. Valid Suriname Driver’s License. Clean driving record. Good knowledge of roads and locations throughout Suriname. Ref: CM
