Objective: <\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

To facilitate growth in both the retail food service and offshore sectors. He\/she will assist the company in meeting its goals through <\/span>maximizing sales and<\/span> achieving sales targets by proactively pursuing new business opportunities while up selling and cross selling to existing customers. <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Principal Responsibilities:<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Deliver exceptional customer service whilst fostering strong client relationships.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Service existing accounts, obtain and process orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules. This involves calling \/ visiting existing or potential clientele.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Submit orders by utilizing working tools provided and liaising with CSR’s & credit department, dispatchers etc. to ensure that the deliveries of goods to your customers are done in a timely fashion.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Handle collections in a timely manner based on the customer’s credit terms. <\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Keep management informed by submitting sales activity and results reports, such as daily cash reports, weekly sales logs, projections \/ forecasts.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on products, prices, delivery schedules, and other techniques, thus reporting same to management.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Be a solution provider to your assigned customer to ensure quality service. These include but are not limited to collections, credits, damages, promotions etc.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Actively seek to have additional items listed as well as to identify new customers in a timely manner.<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. Be actively involved in promotional type activities with the client, this may involve supervision of a promoter when required.<\/span><\/li>\n
  10. Represent the Company at networking meetings\/functions.<\/span><\/li>\n
  11. Assist the General Manager with building out\/leading a sales team.<\/span><\/li>\n
  12. Any other related duties as may be required.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    <\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

    Job Requirements:<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • <\/span>A Bachelor’s Degree in <\/span>Marketing, Business Administration or related field.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • <\/span>At least five (5) years’ experience in a similar position with at least two (2) years in a retail food environment.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • <\/span>Food industry knowledge would be considered an asset.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • <\/span>Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • <\/span>Excellent customer service skills<\/span><\/li>\n
    • <\/span>Must be a licensed Driver and Own your own Vehicle (Vehicle must be in good working condition)<\/span><\/li>\n
    • <\/span>CSME certificate\/work permit will be require for Trinidadian national.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • <\/span>Proven track record in sales.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • <\/span>Strong reporting skills.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • <\/span>Good communication skills (oral and written).<\/span><\/li>\n
      • <\/span>Ability to lead a team.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • <\/span>Sick leave: you will be entitled to 14 days <\/strong>paid sick leave per annum after confirmation in the position.<\/span><\/li>\n
        • <\/span>Vacation leave: once you are confirmed and have completed one year of continuous service you will be entitled to two (2) weeks<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
