This job deploys partners and delegates tasks so that partners can create and maintain the Company Experience for our customers. The incumbent is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Company&#8217;s guiding principles. <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><br \/>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of the Company. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Communicates information to the Store Manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create the Third Place environment during each shift. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed. Provides feedback to store manager on partner performance during shift. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Contributes to a positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in partner morale and performance and communicating them to the Store Manager. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Creates a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback to partners on shift to ensure operational excellence and to improve partner performance. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Delivers legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a &#8220;customer comes first&#8221; attitude and connecting with the customer. Discovers and responds to customer needs. Develops positive relationships with the shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs and concerns. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Executes store operations during scheduled shifts. Organizes opening and closing duties, as assigned. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Follows Company operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Follows all cash management and cash register policies and ensures proper cash management practices are followed by the shift team. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Follows up with Baristas during the shift to ensure the delivery of legendary customer service for all customers. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Provides quality beverages, whole bean and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational tools and by collaborating with the Store Manager to find new, creative and effective methods of recognition. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Utilizes operational tools to achieve operational excellence during the shift.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Job Requirements <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Minimum of 5 CXC Passes or equivalent <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Minimum of 3 years Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> Post secondary school qualification in Hospitality and Business\/HR Management would be an asset. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
