Job Summary:<\/strong>
Our client operating in the manufacturing and distribution sector, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Cashier<\/strong> to join our team. To succeed as a Cashier, you should have a strong work ethic and a high level of accuracy. Candidate should be responsible, attentive to customer needs, and committed to providing consistent excellent service.<\/p>\n

One of the major requirements is for the candidate to be flexible, with the ability to work beyond specified hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities and Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
Collects all monies, cheques and cash instruments received from all sales vehicles and prepares same for deposit daily<\/li>\n
Prepares bank deposit daily and ensures that same is handed over to the Company’s authorized security service for delivery to bank<\/li>\n
Prepares daily cash reports and accounts for all deposits made on each shift<\/li>\n
Executes all counter sale customer transactions and maintains the cash float<\/li>\n
Conducts payouts to both permanent and temporary cash vouchers within agreed timeframes<\/li>\n
Updates the Microsoft D365 system with monies received from truck drivers and customers within agreed timeframes<\/li>\n
Performs all other related duties as required by the job function.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n
At least five CXC passes including Mathematics and English<\/li>\n
Completed or pursuing AAT or CAT diploma would be an asset<\/li>\n
At least one (1) year’s experience performing cashing functions<\/li>\n
Computer literate and able to use relevant software applications<\/li>\n
Good communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n
Good organizational skills and able to manage one’s time and resources<\/li>\n
Ability to be flexible with changes in stipulated hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Timings:<\/strong> (10:00 Am to 7:00 Pm)<\/p>\n
Must reside in the East Bank vicinity.<\/strong><\/p>\n
Transportation costs will be reimbursed for work done after 9:00 PM.<\/strong><\/p>\n
Availability to start:<\/strong> Immediately.<\/p>\n
