Junior HR/Marketing Executive

Reporting Responsibilities: Reports to Senior Administrative Executive

Supervisory Responsibilities: No Supervisory responsibilities


Overall Responsibilities:

Provides administrative, HR, payroll and marketing support under the guidance of the Senior Administrative Executive. Handles employee records, recruitment, staff engagement, and brand building activities to ensure smooth HR operations and effective marketing campaigns.

Duties (include but not limited to):

  1. Human Resources

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, post vacancies.
  • Conduct independent reference checks.
  • Collect and verify employee documents upon hire, conduct staff orientation, Issue badges, lockers, and system access.

Employee Records & Compliance

  • Track attendance, probation, evaluations, birthdays, and leave records.
  • Prepare contracts, CNDA agreements, warning letters, confirmations, promotions, salary changes, medical claims and terminations.
  • Prepare/update policies, memos, SOPs, and handbooks.

Staff Engagement & Communication

  • Organize staff treats, events, and training sessions.
  • Prepare and organize meetings, agendas, and minutes
  • Maintain clear communication channels across departments.
  1. Payroll
  • Verify timesheets (full time, part time, consultants).
  • Prepare all payroll reports: deductions (absence, shortages, loan, advance), overtime, final payments
  • Prepare NIS & PAYE submissions, form 2 reconciliations

  1. Marketing & Brand Building
  • Materials & Advertising – Prepare in‑store marketing materials (signage, banners, posters, displays) and organize ads (TV/newspaper)
  • Campaigns, Promotions & Sponsorships – Execute campaigns across social media, email, and in‑store promotions; plan and deliver events, promotions, loyalty programs, and customer engagement initiatives to increase sales and foot traffic; coordinate all sponsorships to ensure alignment with brand objectives and promotional activities.
  • Digital Content – Maintain and update website content (products, descriptions, pricing, images) and support content creation (images, videos, captions)
  • Coordination – Work with management, vendors, and media to ensure campaigns and materials are timely and aligned across stores
  • Brand Ambassador Contracts – Prepare new contracts, update existing ones, track renewal dates, and coordinate with management on renewals or cancellations; arrange payments in line with agreements.
  • Performance & Records – Monitor and report on marketing performance, ensure brand consistency, and maintain organized records of materials, campaigns, and supplier assets

  1. Any other task assigned from time to time in all functions of the Administrative Department of the client.

Job Requirements/Specifications

Education:

  • At least five (5) subjects CXC, inclusive of Grades 1 to 2 in Mathematics and English.
  • Associates Degree or Diploma in similar fields will be an asset.
  • Competency in MS Office & databases

Experience: At least one (1) year experience in similar position.

  • Basic Understanding of databases
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware & Peripheral devices
  • Good Oral and Written Communication Skills
