Finance Manager

Job Summary

We are currently seeking to build a pool of experienced and results-oriented Finance Managers for upcoming opportunities across Barbados.

These roles are responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth. Opportunities may arise across industries including financial services, tourism and hospitality, retail, and corporate organizations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and financial management skills, with the ability to drive performance and support executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights to senior management
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
• Analyze financial data to support strategic planning and decision-making
• Track financial performance against budgets and identify variances
• Ensure compliance with Barbados financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards
• Oversee statutory filings including VAT and corporate tax submissions
• Support internal and external audits and implement recommendations
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial controls
• Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets
• Monitor financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Lead and develop finance team members where applicable
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Provide financial guidance and support to operational departments

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification (preferred/required for most roles)
• Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in finance or accounting, including supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of Barbados tax regulations and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
