Human Resource Officer

Job Summary

We are currently seeking to build a pool of qualified and proactive Human Resources Officers for upcoming opportunities across Barbados.

These roles will support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration, within a variety of sectors such as financial services, tourism and hospitality, business process outsourcing (BPO), and corporate environments.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a solid understanding of HR best practices and local labour regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, screening, and interview scheduling
• Facilitate onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
• Maintain candidate and employee records in HR systems
• Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and HR-related matters
• Support the resolution of employee relations issues in line with company policies
• Assist in maintaining a positive and productive workplace culture
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with Barbados labour laws and company policies
• Support payroll coordination, leave tracking, and benefits administration
• Assist with HR reporting, documentation, and audits
• Coordinate training sessions and learning initiatives
• Support performance management processes and employee development plans

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in an HR role
• Knowledge of Barbados labour laws and HR best practices
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems
