Call Centre Agent

Job Summary

We are currently seeking to build a pool of customer-focused and results-driven Call Centre Agents for upcoming opportunities across Barbados.

These roles are critical within Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), financial services, telecommunications, and customer support environments, where delivering high-quality service and maintaining customer satisfaction are key.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and accurately
• Provide product, service, and account-related information
• Resolve customer complaints efficiently while maintaining a positive customer experience
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team where necessary
• Follow up with customers to ensure resolution and satisfaction
• Accurately record customer interactions and update systems (CRM/ticketing platforms)
• Maintain detailed and accurate call logs and documentation
• Adhere to data protection and confidentiality standards
• Meet and exceed performance metrics such as call handling time, quality scores, and customer satisfaction ratings
• Maintain productivity and service standards in line with organizational expectations

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in customer service or call centre environments
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills
• Proficiency in basic computer systems and CRM platforms
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
