Guest Services Representative
Job Summary
We are currently seeking to build a pool of enthusiastic and customer-focused Guest Services Representatives for upcoming opportunities across Barbados.
These roles are critical within hotels, resorts, and hospitality-driven organizations, serving as the first point of contact for guests and ensuring a high-quality, memorable experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a strong commitment to customer service in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Welcome guests in a warm, professional, and courteous manner
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and effectively
• Provide information on hotel services, local attractions, and amenities
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently
• Handle reservations, bookings, and cancellations using relevant systems
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
• Address and resolve guest complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Escalate complex issues where necessary while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Ensure follow-up on guest concerns to maintain service standards
• Maintain accurate guest records and documentation
• Process payments and maintain transaction records where required
• Support daily reporting and operational tasks
Requirements & Qualifications
• Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in customer service, hospitality, or front desk roles
• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field (an asset)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in basic computer systems and reservation platforms
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
